Good Evening

because it is. It is evening, and I suppose it is good enough :)

In a few days I will be able to write in the mornings, and thus make more thoughtful posts. In the evening I always feel the pressure to get it over with, so they've been rather terse.

Today I was reminded that I really, really need to buy a book on music engraving sometime, because I often have questions about where something belongs that Sibelius doesn't do perfectly/correctly for me. Since I'm not getting enough commissions to afford a copyist I have to do a good job on my own, and for whatever reason I still haven't bought one. I have a list of four or five great books that have been recommended to me, but the impulse is always "well, I won't have it by the end of this project, so I'll just worry about it later".

Ha! Someday I'll buy it, for real. Until then, I remain humbly yours,
