Private Music Lessons

Candace Bilyk is a private teacher in Minneapolis, MN currently accepting new viola, violin, and theory students into her studio. Students of any age are welcome, but parents of young children should ensure that their child can pay attention to instruction and remain well-behaved for at least half an hour before starting lessons.

If you are new to violin or viola and are not sure where to start or what to do, please also read the information for beginners page.

Violin lessons are available for beginning and intermediate students. Advanced students are encouraged to study with a teacher who is primarily a violinist.

Viola lessons are available for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students.

Theory lessons are available to beginning and intermediate students, and primarily covers topics in traditional tertian harmony.

"Learn To Read Music" lessons are single sessions meant to cover all of the basics on the symbols and concepts behind music notation.

Students and parents should be aware of Ms. Bilyk's scheduling/payment policy, which applies to all lessons other than single sessions on reading music.
